Sad but sort of understandable. I don't have to like it but with no market then no need. I did see one remark that makes some sense, farmers can charge a fee for people to come in and harvest for themselves. Course there would be the problem of how to get to markets in the Midwest when you might live in Boston.

LT Charles Baird true enough, question is whether the food bank is open. Most are I think but still a question.

SSG Samuel Kermon You could be right but I did see an article on MSN about the food banks throwing away tons of rotten food that they never gave out to people - if I can find it again I will post it.- hence my thought about the food banks
