I am saddened and not surprised Representative Emanuel Cleaver, D-Mo., while serving as guest House chaplain on Sunday, January 3, 2020 ended finished the first daily congressional prayer of the new session 'Monotheistic God, ... many different faiths, amen and awoman.'
Amen indicates agreement and does not refer to a gender.
Many claim to know the LORD and HE will tell them I never new YOU. Hopefully Cleaver will eventually have genuine faith and honor the LORD.
