Dominick Bonner, based in Okinawa, was recently awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal after providing lifesaving chest compressions to a Japanese restaurant worker who was found motionless and without a pulse in the restaurant kitchen. In a statement he said "It’s all about looking out for our fellow brothers and sisters of mankind. He needed help, and there was no way I was going to stand back and watch him die." Thank you Cpl. Bonner for your heroic actions and for stepping up to provide help to someone who desperately needed it!
