This is a garbage article from a garbage blog. Most of the "facts" are from left wing newspapers. Only once was the FBI statistic.
Case in point, where they say that this year was one of the safest for police with only 34 killed by felonious assault. Sure that was the ones that were killed but how many officers were feloniously assaulted? Critically injured?
The media has their own agenda and it is not reporting accurate truthful information.

Very easy to Monday morning quarterback every shooting from behind your phone. There are justifiable and non justifiable shootings. Vast majority of interactions and confrontations are G to G, but those stories are not news worthy. Very biased article, love the twenty plus police killings stated as a non violent year for police officers. Just remember, calls for police service are usually generated by a member of that community who do not want to deal with a violent or unstable individual. It's a tough job, if anyone thinks it's easy, they are always hiring.

My initial question is "Why?"
Why did he continue to shoot after the subject was down?
Why didn't have his partner back him up so he could apprehend the subject?
Why didn't he shoot to wound instead of shooting to kill?
These are questions that have been asked and re-asked in almost every police shooting and yet the epidemic continues
