If you're great at math, and not afraid to get your hands dirty, manufacturing is an option. But if you have a liberal arts degree you probably suck at math.
On a serious note, if you go after jobs no one wants (like insurance salesman), you'll be able to earn an okay salary even if you don't have a degree.
