CAREGIVERS OR SPOUSES CAN RECEIVE A VA STIPEND FOR TAKING CARE OF INJURED VETERANS. The amount will vary by the intensity of the injury and how much time the spouse spends taking care of the veteran. In 2017, caregivers received between $7,800 and $30,000 a year, according to the Congressional Budget Office. I will try to get updated amounts.
