I, of course, have no ability to verify what she knew or didn't know. The article does say this:

Bear in mind, we are talking India here ... not the U.S. where sex-ed seems to begin when kids give up the teat or bottle and take up the sippy cup.

I will say that I hope that the report is true ... and that she matures believing the rock was removed and that she is good with the world. Hope they castrate the uncle that impregnated her.
