The headline reads, Emboldened Biden, Dems Push Ban on So-Called Assault Weapons.
My comment, "Dems concentrate on firearm assaults yet do not mention the college girls stabbed to death or the hammer used to assault Pelosi. The FBI tracks the number of murder victims and its 2020 report shows the following statistics:
Handguns = 8,029
Knives = 1,739
Personal weapons (hands, fists, feet, etc) = 662
Rifles = 455
Blunt objects (hammer, clubs, etc) = 393

This begs the question - Why are the democrats targeting long rifles versus knives or perhaps people killed in road accidents in the United States? According to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) 2018 statistics, 36,560 deaths were caused by motor vehicle accidents.
Is the motive, other than weapon safety the reason to attack the 2nd amendment? Do the Dems really have "we the people" targeted for improved safety? Could the low-hanging fruit for safety be the mass border crossings? According to a report by Fortune backed by CDC and a bipartisan federal commission, the Fentanyl and related fake drugs made in Mexico that are crossing the border have killed more people than guns and cars. One of the problems MCPO Roger Collins is how people see modern sporting rifles. They are black, have an adjustable stock, a pistol grip, can use 10-30 round mags. They don’t understand the difference between semiautomatic and full auto. Thus, they would even classify a Massberg MVP Flex as an assault weapon; even though it is a bolt action.
