I've heard that UDP joke somewhere else, just a little different.
"Hey, wanna hear a UDP joke?"
"Sure."
"You probably won't get it, and I won't really care."

I think I shared an article on the newcoming apt versus full suite apt-get days ago.

I'm actually overplaying my hand. I have two deuces, not a full house. I only know a little about Linux. Terminal scares me. I mean it's a root thing. Like playing around with registry in Windows. I once used bleachbit to erase all deleted files. When I was done I had a bar on the bottom of the screen. Never could get rid of it. All the Linux chat rooms and blogs did me no good. I decided that next time I run Linux I'm leaving it alone. No CLAM, no bleachbit, no apt-get anything. No sudo. Just let it run. So far so good!

SPC John Waisman - Bleachbit is a lot stronger than it seems. Sometimes its safer to simply backup files, wipe the HD, and baseline.
Depending on the commands in the terminal, you can add an "-i" for the terminal to ask you to verify every single action involved in a command.
SSgt Mark Lines, care to amend?

Sounds like a neat thing to do. I've decided to let Linux be. I don't need Bleachbit. I don't have sensitive information on my computer, or anywhere else, so I don't need to wipe deleted space. I always back up my files in at least 2 clouds. Mostly I write fiction, which doesn't sell anyway, so I'm the guy in the Bob Dylan song that says, "When you ain't got nothin', you got nothin' to lose." I'm just using Linux as if it were Windows and I was a dumb low end user. I click the updates, of course, but I stay out of terminal, and I stay out of programs that mess with systems, like Bleachbit, CLAM, various specialty firewalls, and so on. So far, using Linux like this, has been straightforward, simple, and effective. I really like it.
I'm really glad I found out about UUI. I can create an install USB drive for any version of Linux. And it's free.
I alternate between Linux and the Chrome OS. Both are safer than Windows at the moment. Though I'm hoping Microsoft will put more energy into security and the whole world can take a breath of relief. Till then there are all those nasty viruses going around. I got hit with one, which is why I'm back to Linux.
Thanks for your input. Have a great day!
