Wishful thinking... but, I share your sentiment. As for seeing things as, "black and white," not even close to racist, but again I share or understand your point.
I had a civilian boss where I was head of corporate security. He was one of those who tried to rule by fear. His big mantra was, "Don't EVER do anything that will make ME look bad!" That was his problem... a lack of any ability to trust any subordinates. He told me more than once, "You (expletive) military people, you see and want, every damn thing in black and white! "

I don't know much about this case. But it certainly LOOKS like it was more politics by the accusers than it was corruption by the AG.
