As I noted on Twitter, I am so sorry this happened to you. It happened to me as well. I put in for a transfer with my employer from DC to LA and they went on the warpath. I brought them BILLIONS of dollars in my business development role, yet they never paid a penny of that. I even had to eat my travel expenses (air, hotel, per diem) out of my own pocket. And this is the thanks. But, this is not about me. Praying for you to come out on the sunny side. I am still coming out of someone’s sphincter it seems.
