1. Salmon - unfortunately my body doesn't tolerate fish
2. Oats- probably why I love good oatmeal raisin cookies
3. Walnuts
4. Black Beans - my Cuban wife makes several good black bean dishes
5. Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Olive oil is certainly beneficial and tastes great
6. Blueberries
7. Dark Greens
8. Yogurt - I prefer the regular or higher fat variety which has a lot more taste
9. Avocado one of my wife's favorite foods
10. Tofu
11. Coffee - a hearty amen
12. Dark chocolate - unfortunately I am forbidden for eating chocolate because if GERD. That was the hardest thing for me to give up.

Stay with that LTC Ford & you will notice what a difference a good diet makes over the long run.. Eat well, Exercise & stay active and your Golden Years might be really Golden without diabetes's, heart trouble or high blood pressure and may reduce cancer risks.. Hell you might catch up to me..????

Salmon is supposed to be good for your brain because it has fatty acids and minerals to help with brain functions..Although It didn't do much for my brain.
