From what I read, this was part of normal rotations still going on as the Army continues it's advisory role in Afghanistan

That isn't surprising SGT (Join to see). I expect they are being positioned in preparation for the spring offensive by the taliban in Helmand Province which seems to be as predictable as train schedules in london.

SGT (Join to see) - depending on their skills and experience 500 could be as effective as 1000 or more especially if they A-10 Warthog support, great intel and dedicated and very responsive indirect fire support.

SGT (Join to see) - except KIA or WIA among ISIS, al qaeda and the taliban with much more KIA than WIA. It is always better to kill them over there than over here.
