Tough call pulling that chute. In the right scenario, it's a great tool to increase the chances of safety. It isn't the answer to everything, but it's a pretty great answer to some situations. I've had a single engine out, and a fire in the cockpit inflight. Stuff can go wrong, keeping your head is everything. I think Mike Patey has good talking points about chutes.
