The nuclear hand grenades fantasized in Starship Troopers come to mind. I'm sure they've been trying to develop these things for years and years, but technology is quickly catching up to our imagination & this could actually be a thing soon.

So long as MO & KS don't start back up w/ the old rivalry from the Civil War (Hell, Bill Self won't let KU play MU in ANY sport, so there won't be any real rivalry in anything until he's gone).
