The world, not just us, is going to need to put pressure on Pakistan to not ignore what is going on within its borders. When Taliban and Terrorists alike hide in that country because they think it is a safe haven, the rest of the world needs to let them know it is not. The operation that eliminated Bin Laden was step towards that. Invading sovereign nations to kill terrorists cannot be the answer. Neither can tolerance to their presence.

Why not invade another nation to kill terrorists? If the nation harbors terrorists and other that would kill Americans, are they not our enemies? We can try political and economic power to get the Pakis to help us. Military power allows us to solve the problem directly. What is Pakistan going to do to the US? Complain to the UN: OMG the evil Americans invaded our country and killed a bunch of our citizens. BTW they were mostly terrorists we refused to deal with? Do we really care what they think. I don't.

Lt Col Jim Coe The problem is that it will cost American lives to do that. I don't want to see any more American blood spilled in that region. They want to kill each other off fine. They want to kill American Service Members, not acceptable.

It would be wonderful if the world and more appropriately the Pakistani people would put pressure on Pakistan to exercise good and strong influence in the Northwest territories to bring them into the 21st century and wean them from warlords. PO3 Steven Sherrill
