No excuse, we had one of these maniacs drag racing and rear ended two teenage girls out picking up graduation pictures. One was killed instantly, the other burned horribly. Find a place where the general public isn’t endangered.

There are plenty of race tracks around that you can do that without endangering anyone but yourself. For the record, I love driving fast, but wouldn't want to hurt anyone but myself. Which is why I don't drive like that anymore....

That, I can agree with. Although when I think of the risks I took as a teen and early 20s, I thank my lucky stars.

Bill, even though I had a second job in Law Enforcement, I never heard about no speeding tickets on toll roads. But then again, we do not have any toll roads in Vermont. I would think that it would be up to the State on State road, and the Feds on federal highways. In fact, I really do't think I have ever driven on a "Private toll road".

Most toll roads, or at least in Texas are Private Public Partnerships (P3s) but I have no doubt if I was doing 158 on one of them I would go to jail.
