Recruiters jobs are easier when they partner with Soldiers already doing the job. This is especially powerful during existing training where potential or new recruits can get their hands on the equipment they will be using after Basic & AIT. In the National Guard, the benefit to the units include managing the expectations created by "some" recruiters to minimize potential problems once the newly graduated recruit returns and reports to his/her unit.
