This is a great video. My issues with it in taking to friends is I'll bring up Eric Garner. Big man was selling cigarettes. Did the crime fit the punishment? He was placed into an illegal choke hold and kept there, even while telling the officers he couldn't breathe. Now the ME rules the cause of death a homicide. A homicide over illegal cigarettes? Ohh he was resisting. Is resisting and trying to breathe wrong? Well he was a criminal. What does that have to do with anything? Now let one of us place an plain clothed cop in a chokehold, until he dies. He never identified himself, no badges, no weapon, just knowledge later on he is a cop. What do you think will happen to you AND those who watched you do it?
Tamir Rice - 12yr old kid playing with a toy gun. It would almost be laughable but the initial caller TOLD the dispatcher that they believe it's a toy. That very important piece of information was never told to the cops, but even still, before the car has come to a complete halt, Rice is dead. There is no way you could yell out a command with the car racing up an embankment on a startled child and expect him or her to be "compliant". Let me try that on you and see what you think afterwards and you'd have to admit this case was funny and not in a good way. What punishment was given to those responsible that compares to the punishment that was given to a child in a park BY HIMSELF?
Man at Walmat - WHY? I'd like to hear someone explain how that was justified? Camera footage showed what happened and it contradicted what the cops said happened. What was the price for death? But two men can walk into a Home Depot with assault style weapons unless you're a blond dumb as a box of rocks "expert on assault weapons" who thinks that the difference between an assault weapon and a hunting rifle is the scope. So if I buy an Abrams take out the fire control system and mount a 68 on it, it's a 120mm smoothbore hunting rifle? That deer hasn't got a chance in hell. Put the fire control back in and it's a 120mm smoothbore assault rifle? And a FEW deers have no chance in hell being i can track multiple targets. Getting back to this incident, no one was shot. No one called the cops and had them stop the evolution of the earth to stop these men from exercising their 2A rights. They had REAL weapons that could do some heavy damage in the right hands, but a man with a toy is killed, a 12yr old is killed and this is fair?
I've brought this up to folks and they have no real defense other than it was on the cops fear for their safety. Ok. What were they scared of with Tamir? He never had a chance to comply. Garner. Illegal choke hold and he is telling the cops he cannot breathe. So for some cigarettes he deserves to die? If I can't breathe, I'm going to pull your arms away from my neck too. So I deserve to die too? Both Garner and I are about the same size. It pains me to see people look at these cases and cannot debate the merits of the case, but want to throw out stats from the UCR on black on black crime. Deflection much? If I was talking to you about why you beat your spouse two years into the kids next life, you can bring up illegal immigration? Do you not see the massive deflection in this? One has nothing to do with the other. We are talking about accountability in regards to police shooting minorities and shooting people in general and not facing jail for it. But the UCR, a database that is NOT MANDATORY to use is quoted as saying you as a black man is more likely to be killed by another. True, not the question. Stick to the question, but no one does.
A young white male was stopped over what no one knows. He was compliant with the cop, and asked when he was told to get out of the car why? That IS a legit question if there was no reason given for the stop in the first place. Did he deserve to be tazed into next week on the ground, then dragged and dropped on the ground? Kid will never be the same and will have permanent brain damage. "Should have complied"...."Should know what you're stopping the car for and be able to articulate that to the driver. ANY car I pulled over I was able to tell the Desk SGT AND the person driving the car, and it wasn't on some made up excuse to CYA later.
If you have a heartbeat, you have a right to live. There are categories of folks i cannot stand (CHOMOS, rapists, wife beaters) but it doesn't give me open season on them. Why does a badge,a gun, catch phrases, and a union that proctors your comments can articulate how when they kill it's ALWAYS in the right. If you don't support them, then you're a commie thug cop hater. Sean Bell didn't. Killed the night before his wedding. No weapon was ever found even though it was claimed he DID have one. Garner killed in an illegal move, and tried to stay alive. A border patrol agent was killed by some coyotes, and all hell breaks loose, but in a joint investigation, another shot across the rio grande and killed a 15yr old. Silence.
Murder is murder no matter how you slice it. No matter who does it, and your job does NOT instantly allow you to smoke folks at will knowing you'll be protected.
"If the moderate Imams don't stand up against ISIS and Islamic terrorism, then they are no better than the terrorists themselves"......"If the moderate and honest cops don't take a stand against the 5%ers who are POS cops, they are no better than the 5%". I've used that very statement and no one has an answer yet unless they want to argue the points of ISIS. Deflection much?

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel - One of my examples was based off a real incident my brother went through. He as living with his GF and the door busted open. He did what anyone else would do, pick up something to defend himself and his GF with. Now these are plain clothes cops who meet him coming out of the bedroom. No identification nothing, but as weapon in the face. He was subdued along with his GF, booked and while comparing the address given to the address that was supposed to have been raided, right floor, WRONG apartment building. Now if he had picked up anything stronger than the bat he had, He'd be into his tenth year of his passing. There was no apology given, nothing to replace the clothes he was beat in, and no cop to take notes and look into this. That is not fair by far to do to ANY citizen. He was paying rent. He had a job. He was with his GF and due to a mistake NOT even his, he had to sit in jail until they realized what they did was wrong. Imagine if he was someone famous and not just a regular square...there'd be apologies thrown everywhere. Press conferences to tell the public his wrong they were and it would be looked into.

SSG Warren Swan - I understand. One of my worst Experiences ever with Police Officer was turning around to see one with his gun aimed at me. Florissant, MO Right next to Ferguson. Cousin and I working on Uncles Car in the Middle of the Night in the Church Parking Lot. It all washed out okay but it could have been worse.
