I hope and pray there will be no blue on green or green on green attacks in Afghanistan or anywhere else our forces are deployed or stationed SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL.
I consider it to be good news that the Afghan military is moving against fighters loyal to the Islamic State group Afghanistan's eastern border with Pakistan, mainly in Nangarhar province.
I "know" that ISIS has taken fighters loyal to the Taliban and possibly an al Qaeda fighter or two. Both the Taliban and al Qaeda have opposed ISIS in the past. They may be moving to align themselves to some degree with the export version of ISIS which is targeting the west as well as Muslim majority countries which are not hard line such as Bangladesh.
I am thankful that two of my classmates and old friends are now in command of CENTCOM and SOCOM. I trust their judgement implicitly.

Who would have thought we would be giving the green light for the Afghan Army to fight ISIS in their own country. Seems like something went wrong somewhere.
