All of the major elements of 7th ID were there. The 17th, 31st and 32nd Infantry Regiments. The Japanese and a lost Army of Czechs and Slovaks that had deserted from the Austrian Army.

I find a little personal link. In 1871 Marine Captain MacLane Tilton led a punitive expedition ton Korea.
In 1918 Elements of 7th ID were in Vladivostok
In 1963 I was with 7th ID in the same place that Captain Tilton landed
