Flashbacks to GQ Drills on the Ship. CHT Flooding in my Berthing Compartment following a GQ Drill, Escalation Drills involving the JP5 Fuel in the Motor Generator Room and throwing AFFF down the Ladder to the Fire Team, 5 days of Fiery Vigil, Mt Pinatubo. Friggin Wife Playing the Marine Corps workout tape at full blast and laughing her ass off when I pop tall at the end of the water bed. Dysfunctional. Unable to sleep correctly, Oh Hell Yeah! Fearful and Fitful sleep. Some assholes trying to blow me off the face of the Earth in London.

That is sad but not unsurprising news SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL that recent study indicate more U.S. veterans are having sleep disorders.
Hopefully there disorders will be treatable and solved easily with as little medication needed as possible.

SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL, this isn't news to me. I worked rotating shifts for the better part of 20 years and have suffered from sleep problems much of the time. I've been diagnosed with shift worker sleep disorder (yep, it's a real thing), followed by chronic insomnia, and finally sleep apnea. There are days where I have to get up and walk around so I don't fall asleep in my office. The worst is when I'm sitting at a traffic light and start to feel like I could nod off. That can get really scary.
