2 people sent to hospital after explosion in Edmonton’s Griesbach neighbourhood

This explosion happened 3 Doors Down from me. When I came home from work, the side road access to my neighborhood was blocked by an undercover police SUV with its lights on. I could see a Hazmat or bomb squad fire truck on the driveway of the house that had the garage blow up. I drove around the back way and was able to get to my property. The police line do not cross tape starts about 4 car lengths South of my house. I don't know if this person had an explosive. Half my neighbors are military who reside at a base that is about 10 minutes away from here.

1400 today I was not allowed back into my house and was kept about a quarter mile away because they found two suspicious objects Underground. After an hours away, I was allowed back in in about an hour ago all three vehicles of the Edmonton fire or bomb squad investigation command post left the scene. I did see a bomb squad fire department flatbed truck that had a propane canister strapped down I'm the back. The media has not reported what the blast was caused by.. Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen no, but my wife did tell me that she did see people in hazmat suits yesterday while I was gone at my daughter's basketball game. Maybe she mistook the hazmat suits for a bomb suit? Sorry to be so sketchy, but once that does remain is that the property is completely fenced off and there is one security guard in a vehicle watching the property.

About a mile to a mile and a half away from this explosion was another explosion that killed 4 people. Many houses around this explosion were damaged as well.
