I am glad that the two soldiers injuries were minor in a bomb blast near Jalalabad, Afghanistan SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL. I wonder if any of the counter-IED technologies were rated poorly by the DoD IG helped protect those two service members from more serious injuries.
If any procedures, technologies, or equipment helped I hope that information has been sent up and disseminated laterally.
