In 2016 VFW ran a survey of women veterans. Some of the results are surprising such as the number of homeless women veterans, many of whom have children. Clearly there is still a lot of work to be done for all our veterans.

Thanks LTC Brown - will read with interest. Do you know - it says the survey is woman Veterans, but are they all VFW members? I'm asking because I have been trying to get some national stats from VFW on % of female Vets, etc. and also reviewing my own Post's gender data. Turns out, the VFW has some issues in this area - gender is captured when people apply, but many, many records are missing. 86% of my Post for example the gender field is "null" - even though I've never entered anything but "male" or "female" in the year I have been here!
