Canada's racism problem? It's even worse than America's.

We talked about America first but both Canada and the United States forget about the indigenous people they conquered and often ignore. Some tribes don't have Casinos and some Natives are isolated and commit suicide due to drugs, alcohol and no support network 'on the rez'. Some Reservations really do well but many do not.
Canada's racism problem? It's even worse than America's.

Racism............it's everywhere. We thought it would end, but it's a growing problem. Thanks for sharing this article.

SSG James J. Palmer IV aka "JP4" - I totally understand where you are coming from JP4. But what I was trying to say, and I may have come across wrong, is that racism is not going anywhere. Unfortunately, it is here to stay. Hard as we try to get along, we never will. I give everyone the benefit of the doubt until something happens to change my point of view, but right now, this racism thing is bigger than I am. Sad to say my brother.

First Canada does not have the minorities in large groups that the U.S. does. Second racism can be found almost anywhere in the world, and it's not that hard to find. But I think in general the Native Americans on this continent are treated or live in far worse conditions than most minorities. We just don't see it because they are tucked away on reservations etc.

MSG Andrew White - If the chief and council get funds from the Government for housing and only a few are in good shape and the rest on the reserve are delapidated and more like leaking chicken coups, then it shows non-functional corruption and the Tribe/Band should be investigated.
This hypcritical Indian Chief went on a hunger strike but her Band/Tribe received Government money that could not be accounted for. This They don't have a Casino to make money off but they did have a diamond mine payments but she has the nerve to go on a soup broth hunger strike when she was the problem but her stunt just made her look more stupid!
