No one wants to quit their job . . . but many of us who have diligently served both Republican and Democratic Presidents . . . would quit or retire if asked to work for this loose cannon. . . Update: What astonishes me is members of a massive bureaucracy . . . our armed forces . . . believe decapitation of the most capable members of the senior leadership . . . equivalent to two thirds of our NCOs and Line Officers . . . would lead to anything other than catastrophic loss of critical institutional knowledge, skills, abilities, and memories required to efficiently operate the complex mechanisms of the national government. The people choosing to leave are those who can readily find substitute employment in private industry . . . leaving behind those who lack the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to operate the national infrastructure. Massive senior turnover would be catastrophic for our armed services -and- and for our federal government.
