As far as effective and efficient, I think the Guillotine is the way to go but man is it Gory, A regular Blood Fest.

Ah Yes the Royal Barber. It is always good to remember that Thomas Paine went to France after the US Revolution because he didn't think we went far enough and he wanted to take it to the next level with the French Revolution. Favorite tool of the Committee of Public Safety for those that were "Counter-Revolutionaries" or dared to question the Committee. One of it's final victims was the Head of the Committee of Public Safety Robespierre Himself.
