Calling a UAS operator a "pilot" is like calling an aircraft carrier a rowboat.
Congratulations on becoming a drone operator, and way to make history, all for that. Two different sets of operational mentality here. An operator operates the thing, and can disconnect from it.
A pilot actually straps their sorry butts in and their lives/passengers lives depend on their ability to get home.
