Little over 10 years ago right before I got mobilize for Afghanistan, I went to this Museum. Little did I know that my wife's family was directly related to somebody in this Museum. The curator took us over to a display and there was pictures of my wife great grandmother holding a picture of Corporal Henry Norwest. She was the daughter of Corporal Henry Norwest what's the second best sniper in Canada in World War II. Almost a decade later, my auntie Buffalo discussed about the life of Corporal Henry Norwest. Hopefully, they'll maintain his diorama display there when they upgrade the museum.

Just outside of Calgary is BATUS: British Army Training Unit Suffield. It was the used to train Armoured Battle Groups. It was one of the only places where we fired live Sabot.
