Damn, I was sure she was the next CNO. Fun fact, she was the command authority that authorized the kills shots in the saving of Captain Phillips, and she did the voiceover of herself in the movie.

My ex (she was a SWO) was part of a female officer support group that ADM Howard was a part of. She had meetings for them everywhere she went. Pretty good mentorship. ADM Howard was well liked. Best of luck to her in the future (the ADM, not my ex...)
