They will report it...just as soon as they can determine how to make it look like something Hitler would do.

Yes, there were plenty on the left here that were 100% sure the supreme court would uphold the lower courts decision. Those that actually read the Constitution and the law knew better.

You did read the part that the Supremes did not decide the matter on the merits? It was vacated because there was no longer a case or controversy, because the administration had put properly established procedures in place.

LTC (Join to see) - exactly. Of course, when SCOTUS doesn't decide something based on the Constitution and law, but on procedure, it means that the Constitutional question was not answered.

The most objective source I could find (not snopes, not politifact, or fox, or msnbc) was from an American Bar Association article from Feb 2010 (admittedly not current, although the 9th also suffered the highest reversal rate in 2014). It shows reversal rates of 80%
and 83%, for the Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit, respectively, compared to a median
reversal rate of 68% across all appeals courts. The article also makes clear the picture is more complex than just reversal rates, and ends up giving the 9th a "C-" grade on a normal distribution curve. The Federal Circuit earned the lowest grade, a "D".

Col Joseph Lenertz - you can find data on the SCOTUSBlog website. For the last five terms (2012-2016), the 11th and 3d Circuits were overturned 88% of the time, and the 6th Circuit was overturned 83% of the time. The 9th was overturned 79%. Overall, 72% of the cases heard by SCOTUS reverse the lower court's decision.

Capt Gregory Prickett - I amended my post so I could not be accused of fax news in this forum. Thanks for the detailed info on the activist courts we have in our great country.

LCDR (Join to see) - what activist courts would that be? I'll note that the lowest reversal rate was 50% (1st Circuit).
