Seems like a good list. I don't carry it on my person but I always have a roll of 100 mph/duct tape nearby as well. I actually just got a new watch and knife for my birthday earlier this month. Both came in real handy (as did the 100 mph tape) during my field training this past week. Possibly some good gift ideas for the Christmas.

Very good article. I prefer a multi tool over a knife because of the many tasks it can handle. Plus I would like to add paracord as the watch band.
