I wish it would state what the "hazing" was in more detail instead of the one example. Is it a product of the snowflake generation or did they severely cross the line. The dryer incident is definitely a line crosser.

I think a more accurate statement might be it doesn't pay to be an asshole in that training detachment

Hazing is a fancy word to describe a ritural to welcome and initiate a new member. No different than the gauntlet you walk thru after promotion. It builds Marines. Stop them crybaby face shits in the recruiter's office.
