I got mine on Pendleton in 91 when I was going through Motor T school on Camp Del Mar (I'm California born, raised, Boot, schooled and Stationed with 3/5 on Camp San Mateo) and Yes we had guys get rolled a few times in Oceanside all those Marines were not originally from California so to the punks out there they were easy to spot as Marks.
