While this is one authors opinion it nails the area I live in. Not advocating someone to move here- just posting for the historical perspective. I always hear there is nothing to do or nothing ever happens here. Correct if you never leave your house or the couch. Northwest Iowa has a lot to offer and is growing if you are looking to relocate. Again- some history from my hometown.

Yes, YES! For all of you folks from California, New York, Illinois, New Jersey, Maryland, etc., contemplating a move to Texas. PLEASE put Sioux City, Iowa on your must-move-to-city list. I’ve been to Sioux City and it’s a pretty place. Texas is hot, has bugs, tornados and women that carry 1911 45s in their purses! You wouldn’t like it here. Besides, we don’t have “Twin Bing” candy bars.
