Going back to school to earn a degree is definitely a wise choice. Most stable state side assignments can include a chance to earn some college credits using the tuition assistance service on the particular base. The various universities that have chapters aboard military bases allow for a quick change in your career with a deployment or temporary duty somewhere else. They accommodate each student's working hours and make it possible to complete the school work. Long hours of study and writing papers can be draining but worth the effort in the end.
