34 Democrats and 1 Republican vote ‘no’ on resolution to support ICE, only 18 Dems vote in favor

We all know that the Democratic members of Congress aren't stupid, right? There's no argument there (I hope). So what would account for this? Do they actually believe that ICE should be disbanded? Of course not. They aren't stupid. No one is that stupid, not even the people marching in the streets demanding that ICE be disbanded. No, there's something else here at play. I have two guesses and, to be perfectly honest, I haven't decided which is correct. Either the Democrats believe that tokenism can substitute for a political platform in an election or the hysteria has risen to a point that, like a child throwing a tantrum, they have lost their senses. Or, maybe it's something else. Anyone have another idea?
