Can't say I have been stationed at any; however, Bragg should be there too. Fayettenam with the Fayettecong..

The town is not the base. The town leaves a good deal to be desired, but the base isn't too bad.

CPT Zachary Brooks - Zachary I dont have anything against Fayetteville, they have everything you could want. I will some of the surrounding areas are great Southern Pines, etc... The thing I learned pretty quick you have to be careful that old guy in the civilian clothes might be some OSS CIA SF Ninja instructor you never know.

There are always some crappy place to be assigned or stationed. At the end of the day we have look at a couple of different things 1) you are part of the solution and not the problem, even those places that suck so bad have a reason they are there and it is normally a pretty big reason. So just look at it this way you are part of the solution and not the problem. 2) With a crappy duty station comes some pretty big bragging rights, example, "I was stationed at joint base jackass for four years everyone else is now in a nut house, its bad.

Surprised Ft. Irwin didn’t make the list especially with all the field time people go through stationed there. Plus it’s in the middle of a desert.

I know right! I was stationed at NTC for three years. Summers are brutal as well as the winters. Ugh!
