The picture and most of these complaints are misleading and misguided. The Veterans Center at Talihina is ran by the State of Oklahoma not the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs is administered and budgeted by the State government and runs several long-term residential care centers across the State. CPT Andrew Wrightl Does it really matter if it was state run or a VA hospital? What it comes down to is, this man was a veteran and deserved to be treated properly for his infection. He wasn't and he died with maggots in his leg. That's the way I see it.
