Capt Walter Miller - Captain; It is settled American law that American courts are permitted to allow the use of evidence that was obtained by means that would have been illegal had they been used by American authorities PROVIDED that the source of that evidence turns it over to American authorities in a legal manner.

What IS going to be really interesting is finding out HOW the Russians came into possession of the eMails (which no one connected with the US government is ever going to admit) and WHAT the eMails actually say (which we are equally unlikely to ever know).

Well, you are probably right.

But it has been reported that the FBI was able to recover all the "wiped" e-mails that Clinton tried to conceal. Ooops. So maybe we will hear something.

Capt Walter Miller - Captain; Having heard no EVIDENCE (only submissions on what the evidence will [and will not] show if it is ever produced [which it may never be]) on the point so far, the jury is unable to return a verdict on the charge of "Concealing".

On the other hand, the idea of having the National Police Force controlling the outcomes of elections is one of the first new ideas to enter American politics in a long time and I'm not sure that I approve of it (or that the Founding Fathers would think that it was such a "Good Thing" either).

A very intriguing Federal Security Services (FSB) report prepared for The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation (SLEDKOM) relating to the trial of Ukrainian “spy/terrorist” Nadiya (Nadezhda) Savchenko states that “beyond top secret” emails obtained from a “private computer storage device” belonging to former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “should/must” be allowed into the sentencing phase of this case due not only to their “critical relevance”, but, also, because the “apprehension” of them falls outside the purview of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).
