5000 or so people, sounds like an invasion.

I have seen 7000 in some stories and heard 10,000 this morning on the radio. Think the 10k number is a bit embellished. Still, with those numbers, I'll agree on invasion force.

250,000 Marines vs 4000 civs women and children walking to a border fence for immidiate deportation, unless some of them are skilled tradesmen as we have a 70% vacancy rate in those markets...

LCpl Scott Greenwood - that would be a waste of the Corps resources. Situations like this is what the National Guard is great for. But to be honest, I just see California as letting them walk through the gates. If they crossed at the Texas border, there would be citizens and guard alike in their path. Not sure about NM or AZ but I am sure the guard would be there.

Lets see, the 7th ID had about + /- 10,000 Soldiers when it was a Light Infantry Div.

So I'm not seeing the difficulty in viewing + /- 7000 folks who have stated a purpose and intention of illegally forcing entry into the country en mass after being told not to do so. With many of whom having engaged in recorded violence with the Mexican police in such numbers and with such force as to have cowed them into letting them pass ( shown on Fox and CNN) as a potential threat and invasion by a division minus.

As for women and children, which some folks throw out there as a defense. I saw significantly less in the crowd in the videos than military aged men.

This is why I think in my humble opinion that the wall or some other obstacle band would be a good idea as it would help channelize folks to the legal ports of entry and make it easier to nab the nare do wells as they attempt to breach the obstacle.

Personally I'm for immigration for people who follow the rules and laws.

Exactly and let's be real these are unarmed untrained people with women and children...not to be melodramatic...but pretty sure you give me 4000 rounds and a ch53 and your going to have any more "invasion"

I’d say yes, they definitely do. If the pictures that I’ve seen are true, then there’s nothing asylum seeking about them. They’re a brigade size invasion force. Just in time for the elections too.
