We see that everyday now. Everyone is complaining about inflation and yet spending is way up. With interest earned up, it is the time to save, but, no, we have to buy, buy, buy.

You actually have to have extra money after things like rent, utilities, food, insurance, and maintenance and gas for the vehicles. Even making 20 bucks an hour isn't a living wage in a lot of places. Wages and cost of living parted company 20 years ago.
The moron that tells you that he can't get anyone to show up for work, tell him the truth. No, no one wants to work for you for what you want to pay. An economic fact that escapes most MBA's and CFO's.
I watched a Dirty Jobs episode where the subject of the show scuba dived in sewage plants to clean/fix items that would require them to shut down. Now his outfit didn't allow contact between him and the sewage, but I realized that if the money was right, someone would do it.
