Student loan forgiveness for totally disabled Veterans is not a new program, but more than 25,000 Veterans have not completed the application process to have their debts forgiven. President Trump's signing of an official memorandum last week is an effort to simplify and expedite the process so that more disabled Veterans can have their federal student loans discharged. The U.S. Department of Education says it plans to notify all eligible Veterans.

I sure wish it for more disabled Vets. I havent worked or had a job in 11 years and I am one step above being homeless because of my back and mental health issues but this does nothing to help remove the burden I have carried since I was a stupid 18 year old kid. if there is anything that runs your credit I never be approved plus living on 600 bucks a month doesn't leave me much room for anything anyways.
