That was a singular event occurring in one location. The invasion of our country is occurring everyday in every state.

Is there a law against possession of a firearm? Is there a law against illegal entry into our country? The emergency is that we have a government and political elite that enforce laws that they like and disregard the others. That is not justice. PO2 Robert M.

LTC (Join to see) - Yes there are laws DICTATING the possession of a firearm, hence, he was in possession of AN ILLEGAL FIREARM. The crime is that we loose TOO MANY people, daily, due to illegal firearms. I own my weapons legally. Another National Emergency is that 19 VETERANS A DAY COMMIT SUICIDE.

This is not a national emergency this is a City of Chicago issue. You can ban guns and make the illegal to possess, and the killing of innocent lives will continue because criminals do not obey the law. Good citizens, who obey the law are left defenseless.
The surge of illegal immigrants from Mexico is a National problem. I have no issues with immigrants applying for citizenship and taking classes, and background checks to become a legal citizen. But the reality is normally not the case. I support the building of the wall. This my view only not speaking to stir up resentment.
