I know nothing about this story but this is all-around sad. Stories like this remind me why its good to ask people "are you okay" in passing if you just get the hint that something may be wrong. You never know when someone may need to talk, vent, or simply feel respected as a human. This elitest mindest we carry as Americans creates more issues when we attempt to judge and compare struggles and views. Stories like this always has a bigger story preceding it - the causes within that workplace, the internal circle, and culturally within the US. Laws are but a part of a bigger situation. We need to care more and act on it without being so quick to judge the next person for what they're doing at that same moment.
