5 Major Shootings Last Week Align With Recent U.S. Gun Violence Trends

We have to recall that a weapon is a tool. The person using the tool is at fault; not the weapon. Many forget that.

The shooting in Alabama occurred in Hoover (an urban municipality bordering Birmingham). I retired from there as a firefighter medic 4 years ago, and request prayers for my friends in the police and the fire department, and especially for the victims and their families.

Also, the fatality was a soldier on leave from his unit. He was licensed, and may have been shot while trying to help.
