We loved our medic. He was there for us, no matter what. From giving secret penicillin shots, for you know what, to stitching up cuts, and applying tourniquets. He would have taken a bullet for us if he had to. The chances they take and the lives they saved, took guts and professionalism.

No they don't
Combat medics are a special breed of soldier and anyone and everyone who has ever been one deserves a BIG hug and a lot of thanks and let them know God has a special place set aside for them who served as a medic because they do make a lot of sacrifices.
The Combat Medic Prayer
Oh, Lord I ask for your divine strength to meet the demands of my profession.
Help me to be the finest medic, both technically and tactically.
If I am called to the battlefield, give me the courage toconserve our fighting forces by providing medical care to all whoare in need.
If I am called to a mission of peace, give me the strength to lead by caring for those who need my assistance.
Finally, Lord help me to take care of my own spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. Teach me to trust in your presence and never-failing love.

From the 1st Class Female Corpsman that told me to Drop Trou at NSGA Adak, AK. To the ones that used me as a Training Aid at the Clinic US Embassy London to HM3 Robert "Doc" Tulip that would put me back together when I had any Oops and none of it made it any official documents. I have nothing but love and respect for the Corpsmen.
