As long as I know my subject matter, I could be in front of a million people. If I do not know then I don't even want to be in front of the mirror.

It helps if you're prepared. But for those that have a legitimate problem, what advice would you share to overcome it?

To be completely knowledgeable on your subject matter and rehearse rehearse rehearse. Get some battles and rehearse in front of them. We are all family and will help be an audience for you prior to your presentation. Sometimes go to my church when Noone is there and give mock presentations to my nonexistent audience. It helps to rehearse in a room the same size as your presentation

I have just one tip. Do it as often as possible. Once the novelty wears off, it's no big deal.

Most of the time when we mess up at meetings or brief speaking engagements, the audience doesn't even know it. You do but most of the time if they don't know what you have to say, they are going to go with what you tell them. Hope that helps.

Yes it does sir, thank you. I think the biggest thing to remember is not to put so much pressure on yourself

People mess up when they call themselves out. If you mess up, keep on keepin on. Think about how many many briefs you attend that you would do anything to get out of. You aren't listening to the speaker! So for what it's worth, maybe you can apply that to a few things in the future.

Or...I could always go the route of "Death by Powerpoint" that will have them running for the hills. I might not even have to give the presentation
