Also TBI symptoms and PTSD is often with TBI. Anecdotal from 36 years of TBI/PTSD therapy including PTSD group therapy based upon 13.5 years as a Navy Hospital Corpsman.

Late treatment for temporal lobe seizures (TLS) solved my problem. Considered a little "drifty" for 47 years following the TBI. Personally unaware of symptoms except as expressed by others. Condition called anosognosia. I'm now more employable at 78 than I was at 33 when I left the Navy. VA physicians ignored the recommendation of a California rehab neurologists recommended treatment for TLS in 1985 resulting in years of diminishing employability to unemployability in 1990. VA failed to do the "complete injury examination required by 38 CFR 4.42. Have appealed the Feres Doctrine to SCOTUS. Anyone like to join?

PO1 Lemuel Bray - I would more than be interested in knowing more about your clinical experience, particularly if you were a field corpsman. I served during the Vietnam Conflict, mostly at Andrews AF Base. I am very interested in connecting w/ others on this platform who served in the medical corps. I offer free clinical consultation to combat vets that I encounter.

I've written several published articles about combat trauma. If interested, you can contact me " [login to see] or "rkensinger @mtaloy.edu.

Totally right. I think when I was having a hard time sleeping, they had me on more meds than I care to remember, not to mention mediation exercises. It took awhile but never gave up and in the end, I won...You can too. Don't pass this off as nothing because the longer it goes on, the harder it is to get a hold on it.
Every time I turn around, you are putting up so much good stuff. I find everything I read on your RP post I can relate too. You are dialed in COL
Thank You,
Very good share COL

Good to hear. Just because you feel better doesn't mean you can quit working with the therapist. It's like taking meds, you have to finish the whole thing. Good Luck GySgt Vick
